Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Monitoring Architect to lead the design, evaluation and optimization of enterprise-grade monitoring platforms.This role is critical as the company undergoes a major business separation initiative—requiring a full assessment of the current monitoring ecosystem and strategic planning for migration or modernization.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as ThousandEyes, LiveActionNX, SolarWinds and CMDB/Inventory platforms. They will also have expertise in automation frameworks like Ansible and integrations with network management platforms (e.g., Cisco ACI).Evaluate the company's current monitoring and automation toolset and determine the optimal strategy for migration or replacement.Develop future-state monitoring architecture aligned with scalability, reliability and business separation requirements.Conduct gap analysis and provide modernization recommendations.Key Responsibilities:Assess and develop strategies for monitoring tools including ThousandEyes, LiveActionNX and SolarWinds.Lead automation workflows using Ansible, Python or similar tools.Integrate monitoring and telemetry platforms with network management solutions.Cross-Functional CollaborationThe successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, preparing documentation, decision papers and governance materials. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with technical and leadership teams.Requirements8–12+ years of experience in monitoring, observability and network architecture roles.Strong expertise with monitoring tools and automation frameworks.Experience integrating tooling ecosystems with network management platforms.Proven ability to assess enterprise environments and develop tooling migration or replacement strategies.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting M&A, divestiture or business separation initiatives.Knowledge of ITIL, CMDB governance and event correlation concepts.
