Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Virtualization Engineer with extensive experience in virtualization technologies, specifically in migrating environments from VMware to Hyper-V. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level virtual infrastructure, ensuring seamless migration, high availability, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end VMware to Hyper-V migration projects.
  • Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments with high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtual infrastructure performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration of virtual workloads.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and automation scripts for virtualization tasks.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards in virtual environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in virtualization technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and Hyper-V.
  • Expertise in migration strategies from VMware to Hyper-V.
  • Solid knowledge of storage, networking, and backup/recovery in virtual environments.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for virtualization management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
  • Familiarity with cloud integration (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
