You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of engaging and sophisticated natural language conversational AI and search experiences, enabling convenient and friction-less consumer financial services. Your skills and expertise will be instrumental in promoting excellence in our architecture development efforts.Job responsibilitiesRepresents a product family of technical governance bodiesHelp define target state architecture in advanced search, conversational AI and self service UXProduce solution architectures, together with the development team, assisting development through design, development and deployment into productionGuides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworksRegularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendorsDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersDrives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processesServes as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focusActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firm wide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life CycleInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologiesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architectureAdvanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experienceAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecturePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with natural language processing, AI and/or machine learning algorithmsExperience with designing and deploying systems on public cloudABOUT US
