Job Title: Cloud Data Migration SpecialistAbout the RoleWe have an urgent opportunity for a GCP data engineer to support a migration initiative from Teradata to BigQuery.The successful candidate will work closely with our data and reporting teams to ensure smooth repointing and validation of Power BI reports.Migrate reporting data sources from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery) efficiently.Repoint and validate existing Power BI reports to new BigQuery data models ensuring accuracy and consistency.Design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports.Conduct QA validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration.What You'll DoYou will be responsible for migrating large datasets from Teradata to BigQuery while maintaining data integrity and ensuring seamless report integration.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-priority project that will significantly impact our organization's data analytics capabilities.As a key member of our data engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have:Excellent knowledge of GCP services, including BigQuery and Cerebro.Strong experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.Proficiency in SQL, particularly in creating efficient queries and indexes.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.How to ApplyIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for data engineering, please submit your application.
