This role will focus on designing, training, and optimizing large language models and high-performance inference systems. Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize LLM training and inference pipelines on cloud GPUsGenerate, curate, and maintain datasets for pretraining and finetuningImplement and improve transformer architecturesCollaborate with research and product teams to design experiments, analyze results, and ship improvements Requirements:Strong Python skills and solid software engineering practicesHands-on experience with LLM training and inference, proficiency with PyTorch or JAX, experience with Hugging Face libraries: transformers, trl, accelerate, and experience training on cloud-hosted GPUs and with distributed / mixed-precision trainingA strong understanding of transformer internals, familiarity with writing prompts, tool definitions, and managing context for LLMs in real applications Nice-to-Have Skills:RL for LLMs, CUDA / GPU kernel or systems-level performance work, and experience with training infrastructure: monitoring, checkpointing, networking / distributed systems
