Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled, energetic, experienced and future thinking AI Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML algorithms, various AI/ML platforms, and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. This role involves supporting the Data & AI leader in developing and executing the roadmap towards an AI-first organization. The candidate must have a proven track record of working in future-focused startups and possess 7 to 8 years of relevant work experience in AI.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Data & AI leadership to develop and implement the AI strategy and roadmap.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Evaluate and integrate various AI/ML platforms and tools to enhance our AI capabilities.
  • Lead projects involving Generative AI technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams on AI/ML best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and GenAI technologies and apply them to our projects.
  • Mentor and train junior team members to build a strong AI talent pool within the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a focus on developing and deploying AI solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks, and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Java.
  • Experience with Generative AI technologies and their applications.
  • Proven experience in working with future-focused startups and driving AI initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.


Technical Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Certifications in AI/ML from recognized institutions (e.g., Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate).
  • Advanced knowledge of deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, GANs) and their practical applications.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data engineering principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of ethical AI practices and data privacy regulations.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI/ML deployments.
  • Knowledge of data engineering and data visualization tools.
