JOB SUMMARY

The Business Analyst of the CEO’s Office plays a critical role in supporting the strategic goals of the organization. This position is responsible for market mapping, benchmarking, and providing data-driven insights to inform executive decision-making. The role leverages tools like Power BI to analyze market trends, track competitor performance, and help shape business strategy. This individual will work closely with the senior leadership to monitor industry developments and contribute to the company’s long-term growth objectives in the EV and battery manufacturing sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Benchmarking within all areas of the business against competitors in and out of the battery & energy storage sector
  • Analysis of market intelligence and realisation of medium and long-term volume forecasts for target global regions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively to ensure visibility and sharing of data sources.
  • Developing robust reporting processes for customer, brand, and market data
  • Evaluating scenarios to positively impact the business plan including analysis and assessment of options.
  • Operating across the business to deliver strategic projects and objectives.
  • Providing support to the customer, sourcing, industrialisation, and technology teams with analysis of data from various internal and external sources.
  • Competitor data mining – websites/brochures/media/publications/white papers
  • Global legislation requirements and market needs
  • Provide support for conference/Exec off-sites/research events.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • Tier-1 MBA graduate
  • 2yrs+ experience
  • Preferable – experience in supporting a senior executive or team

Essential:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and other data analytics tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior executives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with senior leadership.

Desired:

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of the EV or battery manufacturing industries is a plus.
