Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Tax Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax compliance and advisory, with a focus on US tax law. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and documentation abilities.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing US tax compliance and advisory, including preparing and reviewing returns for individuals and businesses. They will also be required to prepare and file expatriate/international returns and forms, as well as support SALT compliance and state filings. Additionally, they will manage 1099 generation and year-end contractor reporting workflows, monitor tax law changes, and perform technical research. Required Skills and QualificationsStrong knowledge of international tax compliance (FATCA/FBAR, treaties, residency) as relevant to engagementsProven experience with POA, abatements, OIC/IA, and escalation to TAS when neededExcellent communication, client-handling, and technical documentation skillsBenefitsAs a Tax Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.
