The Role:
Marketing and Communications Manager will develop key initiatives and drive goals dealing with media planning, promotional management, advertising and content development, branding, working with clients.
Marketing and Communications manager’s responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
· Create comprehensive marketing strategies for each blockchain event, aligning with overall company goals.
· Identify target audiences and tailor marketing messages to effectively reach and engage them.
· Utilize both online and offline channels to promote events, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, partnerships, and traditional media.
Content Creation and Management:
· Develop compelling content for event promotion, including blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
· Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation across all platforms.
Digital Marketing:
· Execute digital marketing campaigns to drive online registrations and participation.
· Utilize SEO strategies, paid advertising, and social media platforms to maximise event visibility and reach.
Partnerships and Sponsorships:
· Identify and establish partnerships with relevant industry players, influencers, and organisations.
· Negotiate and manage sponsorships to enhance event visibility and generate additional revenue.
Attendee Engagement:
· Develop and implement strategies to enhance attendee engagement before, during, and after events.
· Monitor and respond to feedback and inquiries to ensure a positive participant experience.
Analytics /Reporting and Research:
· Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the success of marketing campaigns.
· Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous improvement.
· Analyzing past operations‘ results, perform variance and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
· Identifying and analyzing trends and forecasts and recommending improvements to the business processes.
· Researching market trends, conducting surveys, analyzing data from competitors, and analyzing the business‘s operations, expenditures, and customer retention to identify patterns of potential issues or improvements.
· Using data analysis and interpretations to guide the decision-making of the business.
· Using operations data to develop pricing models and identify areas for improvement.
· Using statistical, economic, and data modeling techniques and tools.
· Organizing and analyzing data, creating charts and graphs, and presenting your findings to the leadership team.
· Organizing and storing data for future research projects.
Required skills:
· Sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
· Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
· Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
· Brand awareness and strong track record in brand management, developing creative, managing networks

· Data driven with a good cross functional team building skills, agency handling and networking skills
· Willing to take on new challenges and can effectively navigate complexity and ambiguity
· Experience in applied research or data management may be advantageous.

· The ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports.
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team-working skills.
· Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software.
· Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
· Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on social media and event promotion.
· Strong understanding of International Higher Education industry.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to create and execute successful marketing strategies.
· Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
