For more information, visit our website at Job OverviewTeachEdison is seeking a Junior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for creating clear and concise technical documentation to enhance the usability of our products. As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with developers and product managers to gather information and transform it into engaging content for our users.Qualifications and SkillsProven experience in technical documentation with a minimum of 1 year to 3 years in a related role.Proficiency in creating user manuals, technical guides, and other forms of documentation.Strong research skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation.Familiarity with version control systems to efficiently manage document revisions and updates.Understanding of information architecture principles to organize content logically and intuitively.Experience with API documentation to communicate technical specifications and usage guidelines effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a focus on clarity and simplicity.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to gather essential information.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCreate, review, and update technical documentation, including user manuals and API guides, to meet quality standards.Collaborate with developers, engineers, and product teams to gather and verify technical information.Organize complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to the target audience.Utilize version control systems to track changes and manage documentation revisions efficiently.Conduct research to stay updated on new technologies and industry trends impacting documentation practices.Edit and refine existing documents for clarity, consistency, and comprehensibility.Ensure all documentation adheres to TeachEdisons style and quality guidelines for branding consistency.Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, challenges, and improvements related to documentation processes.
