Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Junior Motion Graphics Designer with a knack for storytelling through dynamic animations and a deep love for sports, particularly cricket. This role requires a creative thinker who can transform ideas into visually engaging animations that resonate with sports audiences across social media and other digital platforms.
You will play a vital role in the concept creation process, collaborating closely with the creative, copy, and client servicing teams to bring campaign ideas to life. You’ll also ensure all design executions adhere to brand guidelines while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Motion Graphics Design & Animation
- Create innovative and visually captivating motion graphics based on brainstorming and briefing discussions.
- Develop engaging animations for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Experiment with creative approaches to leverage trends and maximize brand impact.
Project Collaboration & Brand Custodianship
- Work alongside copywriters and client servicing teams during the project development stages to meet deadlines.
- Maintain design consistency and brand integrity across all visual elements for the sports pod.
Video Editing & Image Manipulation
- Perform basic video editing and colour correction to enhance the quality of animations and video content.
- Utilize Photoshop for image retouching, compositing, and creating assets for motion graphics.
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with social media trends and explore new design techniques to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Ideate and contribute to campaigns with innovative designs and animations that captivate sports fans.
Key Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in motion graphics design, with a focus on sports content.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and related design tools.
- Demonstrated ability to create animations that engage sports fans across digital platforms.
- Passion for cricket, with a keen interest in other sports.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and formats.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and brand aesthetics.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working on face morphs or advanced animation techniques.
- Knowledge of 3D animation tools like Cinema 4D or Blender.
- Prior experience in sports campaigns or content production.
