Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Inspector to lead our renewable energy equipment inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.Coordinate and perform pre-dispatch and post-dispatch inspections for renewable energy equipment, including solar modules, energy storage systems, wind turbines, and inverters.Key Responsibilities:Understand the inspection plan and checklist content after being trained to the project requirements.Participate in the project opening meeting to brief the supplier on the scope, inspection rules, and schedule.Verify the conditions on site (5M methodology) prior to performing the inspection.Coordinate the inspection team on site as per the activity schedule prepared by the Project Manager.Witness manufacturing and testing progress by analyzing measurement according to a checklist.Monitor the testing lead time to ensure completion within the agreed schedule.Inform contact people on the inspection site about findings and analyze their improvement plan.Report to the Project Manager the findings observed on site during the inspection.Fill-in the inspection report, based on the format prepared by the Service Engineering team.Suggest ameliorations to the supplier to improve the inspected product and the testing conditions.Propose improvements of the inspection methodology.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in a technical field.Professional Knowledge: Ability to correctly interpret drawings, specifications, and test procedures for PV Module.Professional Qualification: Experienced in renewable energies, energy storage, or factory inspection.Relevant Experience & Fixed Number of Years: At least 5 years' experience in Quality Control (factory or on-site) and at least 5 year's experience in a PV Module technical position.Management Skills: Minimum 1-2 years management experience required.Computer Skills: Good command of the Microsoft Office.Language Skills: Highly proficient in spoken and written English.Other Requirements: High ethics, outstanding communication skills, problem solver; 80+% of time on the inspection site is requested.
