Financial Support SpecialistThe Financial Support Specialist role involves assisting management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel.Key Responsibilities:Collect and validate general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clients.Prepare accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel automated templates.Review and validate cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistency.Prepare tax credit and grant forms.Review tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency.Prepare tax credit audit documents as requested by tax authorities.Assist management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel.Proofread documents prepared by other team members.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management position.Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clients.Excellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuracies.High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Quick learner – ability to understand the business process planning, implementation, and tracking.Good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionally with strict deadlines.Outgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.Benefits:This role offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in financial reporting and support.Others:Please note that we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can make a significant contribution to our organization.
