Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Product Leader (AVP/VP) to own and scale the company’s user monetization, growth, gamification, and retention strategies. This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, user psychology, data-driven growth, and consumer experience design. The candidate will directly influence topline revenue, user engagement, and the long-term stickiness of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monetization Strategy: Design and execute product-led monetization levers (subscriptions, freemium/premium tiers, in-app purchases, ad models, etc.) to unlock new revenue streams.
  • User Growth & Retention: Build features, funnels, and journeys that accelerate new user activation, increase DAU/MAU stickiness, and drive long-term retention.
  • Gamification & Engagement: Conceptualize and launch gamification frameworks (loyalty programs, rewards, leaderboards, challenges, community features) to enhance user delight and lifetime value.
  • Data-Driven Experimentation: Drive A/B tests, cohort analyses, and growth experiments to validate hypotheses and scale winning initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and business teams to deliver high-impact product initiatives at speed.
  • User Insights: Leverage user research, behavioral data, and market benchmarking to inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a strong product team focused on growth, monetization, and engagement.

Key Requirements

  • 8–15 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading growth/monetization/retention for a consumer-facing app at scale (millions of DAU/MAU).
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable revenue and engagement impact through product innovations.
  • Strong expertise in subscription models, in-app monetization, gamification, and user lifecycle management.
  • Deep analytical skills with hands-on experience in experimentation, cohorting, and funnel optimization.
  • Strong grasp of consumer psychology, user experience principles, and engagement mechanics.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing product teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around a shared vision.
