Position: Marketing Head : Gaming Industry
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven marketing experience, with at least 2 years in the Gaming or Real Money Gaming (RMG) sector. Experience in the Web3 sector is a bonus but not mandatory.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and strategic Marketing Head to lead our company's marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate must have a strong track record in the gaming or RMG sectors, with a passion for innovation and user engagement. This role requires managing internal teams, external agencies, and a consistent, impactful digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute impactful marketing strategies tailored for the gaming audience, ensuring user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee all marketing campaigns, tracking their performance and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Gaming-Specific Expertise
- Leverage experience in the gaming sector to craft campaigns that resonate with gaming audiences.
- Utilize knowledge of gaming trends, user behavior, and industry insights to drive innovative marketing initiatives.
- Agency and Vendor Management
- Coordinate with third-party marketing agencies, design agencies, and content creators to achieve campaign goals.
- Evaluate agency performance and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Social Media and Community Management
- Lead and oversee the company’s social media strategy, ensuring consistent branding and engagement.
- Build and nurture a strong online community through interactive content and campaigns.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product, business development, and design, to align marketing efforts with company goals.
- Lead the marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and productivity.
- Market Research and Insights
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and user behavior.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and identify new growth opportunities.
- Interpersonal Excellence
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and team members.
- Represent the company at industry events and in discussions with external partners.
- User Acquisition
1. Plan and execute user acquisition campaigns across channels (social media, influencer marketing, paid advertising).
2. Optimize campaign performance, ROI, and budget allocation.
3. Identify and partner with gaming influencers and content creators.
9. Brand Management
1. Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity.
2. Develop and implement brand guidelines.
3. Manage PR and communications.
10.Retention & Engagement
1. Develop and execute retention strategies (email marketing, loyalty programs).
2. Collaborate with game development teams to create engaging in-game events.
3. Analyse player behaviour and optimize retention efforts.
11.Analytics & Reporting
1. Track and analyze key marketing metrics (ROI, user acquisition costs, retention rates).
2. Provide regular performance reports to stakeholders.
3. Identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of proven marketing experience.
- At least 2 years in the Gaming or Real Money Gaming (RMG) sector is mandatory.
- Experience in the Web3 or blockchain sector is a bonus but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, social media management, and analytics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proven experience in managing external agencies.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a user-focused mindset.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Other Attributes:
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
