Chief Site Security Specialist

Job Overview:The purpose of this role is to lead and manage site-level security, administration, industrial relations, and emergency response at various project and operational sites.This position will be responsible for setting up and overseeing site-level security infrastructure and protocols, including designing end-to-end security strategies, implementing standard operating procedures, conducting regular security audits, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, administration, and labor relations, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement comprehensive security strategies, including crisis management protocols.Deploy security agencies, personnel, tools, and surveillance systems at greenfield and brownfield sites.Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with company protocols.Handle incidents such as thefts, intrusions, protests, and work closely with local authorities.Site Administration:Oversee camp management, transportation, utilities, housing, and vendor services at project/O&M sites.Drive standardization and consistency in administrative processes across all sites.Support field HR with basic documentation, onboarding coordination, and contract labor logistics.Industrial Relations/Employer Relations:Act as a key liaison for managing labor relations, grievances, and union/worker issues.Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and contractor labor practices.Proactively handle local workforce dynamics and support preventive action on ER-related risks.Liaison & Community Handling:Build strong rapport with local authorities, panchayats, district officials, and key community stakeholders.Support community conflict resolution through presence, transparent dialogue, and timely escalation.
