Job Overview:The role of a Security and Compliance Engineer revolves around safeguarding cloud and on-premises infrastructure through the implementation and maintenance of robust security controls.To effectively fulfill this task, one must stay up-to-date with the latest threats and technologies by continuously monitoring Darktrace, SIEM, and other SOC tools in real-time.Key responsibilities include investigating security incidents and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.This position also requires support for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security policies and procedures.In addition, one must contribute to compliance reporting, audit preparation, and maintenance of all related documentation, including risk registers and incident logs.Key Responsibilities:A key aspect of this role is collaboration with the IT Operations team to strengthen access controls, endpoint protection, and data security measures.This includes partnering with the Engineering team to secure cloud infrastructure and applications using tools such as CSPM, DAST, SAST, IAST, and SCA.An additional responsibility is identifying and assessing vulnerabilities or misconfigurations and ensuring timely escalation for remediation.
