The Role of the Aircraft Structure TechnicianAircraft Structure Technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of aircraft structures.Job Description:This position involves performing maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structural components in accordance with approved maintenance data, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Key responsibilities include: Performing structural repairs, replacements, and modifications on aircraft fuselage, wings, flight controls, and other structural assemblies Inspecting and assessing aircraft structures for damage, corrosion, fatigue, and wear Interpreting and following engineering drawings, technical manuals, and Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs) Fabricating, fitting, and installing structural parts using sheet metal and composite materials Operating tools and equipment such as riveters, drills, shears, brakes, and grinders safely and efficiently Documenting all maintenance actions accurately in compliance with regulatory and company requirements Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and safety regulations Collaborating with engineers, inspectors, and other technicians to complete work within set timelines Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Reporting discrepancies and potential safety issues to supervisory staff promptlyRequirements:To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: Experience: 5+ years of experience in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft / Engine Technician with a reputable airline or MRO company Education: Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation or Engineering Aircraft Maintenance LicenseBenefits:Join us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry, including discounts on flights and hotel stays around the world.You can find out more information about our employee benefits in the Working Here section of our website.
