Job Description – Waiter / Junior WaiterLocation: Mon Petit Frère, Colva, GoaReports To: Floor Supervisor / Restaurant ManagerEmployment Type: Full-timeSalary: ₹17,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)OverviewWe are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our front-of-house team as Waiters / Junior Waiters. The role involves providing attentive guest service, maintaining restaurant standards, and supporting smooth daily operations. Candidates should have good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service- Welcome and seat guests with professionalism.- Present menus, explain specials, and take accurate orders.- Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly.- Respond to guest requests and escalate issues when necessary.- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and follow-ups.Operational Duties- Set, clear, and reset tables quickly and efficiently.- Maintain cleanliness and order of dining areas and service stations.- Stock, polish, and replenish cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, and supplies.- Assist with opening and closing duties as per shift requirements.Teamwork & Support- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow.- Support colleagues during peak hours and ensure efficient teamwork.- Guide and assist new or junior staff as required.- Be open to training and development to progress to senior roles.Requirements- Previous experience in F&B service preferred, but not mandatory.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Positive attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail.- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.- Willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.Benefits- Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹20,000/month depending on experience.- Meals and staff discounts provided.- Central tipping system in place.- Growth opportunities within the restaurant.
