Backend Developer

MHP India is seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building mission-critical infrastructure on public and private cloud platforms, as well as developing the tools and processes necessary to ensure the highest levels of availability and reliability for our clients. You'll work with systems that handle thousands of daily transactions, managing large-scale environments with thousands of virtual machines, hundreds of thousands of requests per second, and petabytes of data.Role OverviewAs a Backend Developer, you will design and implement robust backend services for our logistics control platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and high system availability while adhering to Agile practices.Key Responsibilities· Develop and maintain backend services using Spring Boot and Kotlin.· Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams for seamless integration.· Implement message-oriented middleware solutions (JMS/MQTT).· Ensure code quality through test automation and coverage (JUnit/Kotest).· Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.· Support deployment and integration on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes).Required Soft Skills· Agile/Scrum Practices: Experience working in Agile environments.· Collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.· Adaptability: Quick learner, comfortable adopting new backend technologies.· High Availability & Concurrency: Exposure to systems with these requirements is a plus.Required Hard Skills· Backend Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot and Kotlin (2+ years).· Cloud Platforms: Basic experience with AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.· Integration: Hands-on experience with JMS/MQTT (1+ year).· Tools: IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Jira, and Confluence.· Testing: Proficiency in JUnit or Kotest for automation and coverage.Preferred Qualifications· Exposure to high availability and concurrent systems.· Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
