Position Overview:

This Leader is responsible for creating and implementing the sourcing strategies for Global Innovation Center to streamline the comprehensive services to minimize costs and guarantee the highest quality of goods and services for the organization. This position involves developing a team of professionals in sourcing, quality, logistics, and costing, and managing supplier relationships, and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing initiatives align with business goals. A proven track record in global sourcing setup is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with the organization's goals.
  • Collaborate with the Marmon Group companies’ procurement department all over the world to identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Recruit, develop, and oversee employees within the sourcing department.
  • Analyze and calculate procurement costs, devising strategies for cost reduction.
  • Examine spend data and create reports to aid decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on cost savings and value creation initiatives.
  • Make purchasing decisions informed by cost analysis, scenario analysis, and market trends.
  • Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop robust partnerships. Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, covering costs, terms of supply, service, and quality.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and marketing, to understand sourcing needs.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Support costing teams in their negotiations with local suppliers and service providers.

Support the Quality Assurance team to facilitate product quality, safety, and improvements
