Position - Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing

Must have managed Budget/ spend of USD 100 million

Max Salary - 45 Lakhs

Sourcing experience with large IT/ITES/ Consulting organizations required


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Sourcing Leader to lead our sourcing function and drive business growth across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, managing complex supplier relationships, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing Leadership
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet business requirements and drive cost savings
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on sourcing strategies and supplier management
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies
  • Category Management
  • Develop and manage category strategies across multiple commodities
  • Analyze market trends and provide recommendations for category optimization
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement category-specific solutions
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Develop and manage complex supplier relationships, including negotiation of contracts and resolution of issues
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including vendor non-performance and compliance issues
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement quality and performance improvement plans
  • Talent Development and Management
  • Lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals, including training and development, performance management, and career growth opportunities
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sourcing function
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including procurement, operations, and finance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop sourcing strategies
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on sourcing activities and results
