Quantitative Model ValidatorAs a Senior Quantitative Analytics Associate, you will lead independent validations and reviews of various risk models to ensure they function as intended, comply with regulatory requirements, and accurately identify, measure, and report risks to senior management.You will perform hands-on quantitative model validation/review, test conceptual soundness, data accuracy, methodology, and ongoing performance through techniques like backtesting, benchmarking, and stress testing. You will also provide effective challenges to ensure models are robust and assumptions/limitations are justified.Your responsibilities include presenting findings, weaknesses, and observations to model developers/owners, providing executable finding remediations, preparing detailed validation reports and memos, participating in internal audits and regulatory exams, and acting as a subject matter expert on modeling techniques and risk management practices.The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience. They should have hands-on experience in statistical and AI/ML model development/validation, proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, SQL, or SAS, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of model risk management policies and procedures.
