The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation, programming, and control systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and safety.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automation systems for industrial machinery and processes.- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems, with a focus on B&R Automation technologies.- Integrate robotic systems and industrial automation software into existing workflows.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.- Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation.- Ensure compliance with safety standards and data handling procedures.- Manage automation projects from concept to completion, including timelines and resource planning.- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.- Travel to customer sites or manufacturing facilities as part of project execution, commissioning, and support activities.Required Qualifications:- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.- Strong understanding of automation technologies, control systems, and PLC programming.- Hands-on experience with robotic automation systems, hardware integration, and industrial software.- Familiarity with B&R PLCs and HMIs is highly desirable.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Strong project management and communication skills.- Knowledge of safety protocols and data handling best practices.Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.- Experience in manufacturing or machinery industries.- Certifications in automation or control systems (e.g., B&R training, Siemens, Rockwell).- Strong documentation and reporting skills.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits.- Opportunities for professional growth and development.- Collaborative and innovative work environment.- Exposure to cutting-edge automation technologies.Can you find yourself in this profile?
