Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Copper Hill QA team ensures that Copper Hill is delivering our products without issues. The Senior QA Analyst works with the product and operational teams to develop test cases and performs functional, performance, and regression testing through manual and automated tools. The Senior QA Analyst also helps train and mentor QA Analysts and leads the establishment of automated testing. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with end users to understand operations coordinate acceptance testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in development planning sessions to understand upcoming features and user stories.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to cover all scenarios a user may encounter while using a feature.
  • Create test data and perform stress testing to measure performance with high data volumes.
  • Is a subject matter expert on operational processes to identify high-risk features and create inclusive test cases.
  • Leads the effort to develop regression test cases and create automated tests to perform ongoing testing.
  • Establishes, maintains, and monitors automated testing environment.
  • Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to log and track defects from discovery until closure.
  • Work with operational end-users to monitor User Acceptance Testing and manage their questions and feedback.
  • Train and mentor QA Analysts and offer support with their daily tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and principles
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Experience managing tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of software development procedures and tools
  • Strong understanding of testing APIs using Postman or related software
  • 3-5 years of experience using automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or any other framework
