Role: SAP MM ConsultantLocation: Chennai/KolkataJob Experience: 10+ YearsRequired Functional/Technical Skill Set SAP MM in SAP IS-Retail environmentDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):Must-Have: · Implementation experience of SAP MM/SCM modules in Retail environment. · Configure, implement, and support SAP MM (Materials Management) processes within SAP IS-Retail environment. · Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to procurement, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and article master data. · Integrate MM with other SAP modules such as SD, FI/CO, PP, QM and POSDM. · Proven track record of delivering customized solutions. · Strong documentation & articulation skills.· Participate in end-to-end implementation cycles — from blueprinting and configuration to testing, training, and go-live support. · Handle integration points between MM and retail-specific modules such as SAP CAR, SAP F&R, or SAP POS. · Support users through issue resolution, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. · Develop and maintain functional specifications for ABAP developments and interfaces. · Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). · Provide post-implementation support and end-user training.Good-to-Have · Experience in Knowledge in Retail Domain, PP, QM and Other Supply chain Modules · Experience or knowledge in JIRA, Zephyr & Service Now.Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:· Understand business and functional requirements to be design. Participate in the full lifecycle of application, including design, coding, testing, and implementation. · Lead the implementation of technology-enabled business solutions for the customer as an architect. · Prepare design documents and work task plans. · Create functional requirements. · Review and understand business requirements and convert into technical specifications to define the overall application development.· Design, document, and develop business processes design. · Working in Agile methodology.· Manage and coordinate external partners and communicate with various business stakeholders for the successful completion of projects and changes in existing solutions.· Support release planning with conceptual design and development/refinement.· Strong stakeholder management skills and Strong communication skills to engage with business. The consultant will lead the team and coordinate with other cross functional teams The candidate will have experience in business process expertise of S&OP, client engagements, and demonstrated project management skills to develop detailed solution implementation tools and methodologies.
