Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development of Magento-based e-commerce solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of e-commerce concepts and practices to create seamless shopping experiences for our customers.
- Customize and extend Magento\'s core features and functionalities to meet specific business requirements and goals.
- Configure and customize the Magento platform to meet client-specific e-commerce needs, including product catalog setup, payment gateway integration, inventory management, and order fulfillment workflows
- Work on consolidation of multiple D2C tech solutions to target Magento D2C platform
- Develop and maintain Magento extensions, optimizing their performance and compatibility with the platform.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Magento\'s code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
- Ensure efficient e-commerce data organization and manage relationships between data entities.
- Expertly handle web services integrations, including REST and SOAP, to seamlessly connect our platform with external systems.
- Magento Certification and experience in ERP integrations with Magento are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Magento Commerce (on-prem/Cloud), BI Pro, and Order Management is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of PHP web development experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of real-world e-commerce experience with Magento development with a deep understanding of Magento\'s functional capabilities and e-commerce best practices
- Competence in PHP object-oriented programming and MVC applications.
- Proficiency in MySQL-based database concepts.
- Solid knowledge of modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, React, Angular).
- Thorough understanding of Magento\'s code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
- Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions.
- Thorough experience in customizing Magento\'s front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates.
- In-depth knowledge of vanilla Magento feature set and configuration.
- Competence in e-commerce data organization and relationships.
- Competence in authoring JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery.
- Competence in web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Magento Certification is a significant plus.
- Working experience on Magento Commerce (on-prem/Cloud), BI Pro, and Order Management is an advantage.
