Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and lead the development of high-performance data engineering processes. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable end-to-end data collection, transformation, and processing solutions using ETL and REST APIs. This role will also involve working with Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, and developing relational database solutions using SQL Server and/or Oracle. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities :
Setup and manage automatic end-to-end data collection, transformation, and processing using ETL tools and REST APIs.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide ETL solutions for data warehousing, integration, and analytics.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet data processing requirements.
Design and implement Business Intelligence solutions using leading technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Create data models, dashboards, and visualizations for insightful business reporting.
Build and maintain SQL and relational database solutions, ideally using SQL Server and/or Oracle.
Write and optimize SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures for data transformation and reporting purposes.
Interpret and gather business requirements to ensure alignment with technical solutions.
Effectively communicate with business partners, technology stakeholders, and external vendors.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative approaches to problem-solving.
Participate in system development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ensure timely delivery of results in high-pressure environments, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Time (TAT) requirements.
Ensure quality checks and standards for ETL processes and database development.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, release notes, and user training materials.
Deliver end-user training and support when necessary.

Desired Skills & Experience :
Technical Skills :
5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong skills in ETL, REST APIs, and SQL development.
Expertise in relational databases, preferably SQL Server and/or Oracle.
Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
Programming knowledge in OOP languages such as Java, .NET, or C# is a plus.
Experience with third-party applications like Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar tools is beneficial.
Python programming skills are a plus.
Professional Skills :
STEM degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
Experience with system implementation projects and process optimization.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, deliver results under tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to adapt to changes in requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
