Cybersecurity Expert PositionThis is a hands-on tech-oriented role that plays a pivotal part in the Cyber Security domain. The successful candidate will collaborate with delivery teams as well as IT Infrastructure and support teams to deliver high-quality security solutions.About This Role:The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in security testing, team leadership, and project management.A good understanding of network and application security vulnerabilities is essential.The candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience with OWASP, SANS, CERT, WASC standards/frameworks for security testing and security code reviews, OSSTMM for network penetration testing.Experience in static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), software composition analysis (SCA), manual and automation penetration testing tools and techniques is necessary.The candidate should be familiar with using tools like BurpSuite, ZAP, Veracode, Fortify, WebInspect, NMap etc.Ability to perform threat modeling and identify attack vectors is crucial. Familiarity with STRIDE and DREAD concepts is required.The candidate must be able to handle tasks/activities with competing priorities.Independent working skills and guiding a team are essential.Ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously from different industry verticals.Managing a diverse team and getting them to deliver as expected.Handling team challenges and resolving conflicts.Good verbal and written communication skills to talk to both business teams and technical teams.Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, ECSA, GPEN would be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure delivery of high-quality security solutions.Work with IT Infrastructure and support teams to resolve security-related issues.Develop and implement security testing plans and procedures.Conduct security testing and vulnerability assessments.Provide recommendations for improving security posture.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and technologies.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.Relevant experience in security testing, team leadership, and project management.Proficiency in security testing tools and technologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
