Compliance Specialist Job OpportunityOur organization seeks a Compliance Specialist to play a pivotal role in customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, and daily risk evaluations for our cryptocurrency exchange platform.The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or financial-crime roles, boasting a strong understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), Customer Due Diligence/Evidenced Based Due Diligence (CDD/EDD), Know Your Transaction (KYT), and transaction monitoring.The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing KYC/KYB files, performing CDD/EDD checks, and monitoring transactions for suspicious activity. They will also investigate cryptocurrency and fiat flows using blockchain analytics tools and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), as well as document cases and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) when necessary.This Compliance Specialist will maintain accurate compliance records, provide guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements, and ensure high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing, documentation, and risk-assessment skills are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Review and analyze KYC/KYB files and perform thorough CDD/EDD checks.Monitor and ensure adherence to relevant regulations (e.g., OFAC, GDPR).Continuously monitor transactions and KYT alerts for suspicious or unusual activity.Investigate cryptocurrency and fiat flows utilizing blockchain analytics tools and OSINT.Document cases and prepare SAR/STR reports when required.Maintain accurate compliance records and support audits.Provide expert guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements.
