Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic Lead PowerBI Developer . As a Lead Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft‘s Power BI platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, create insightful reports and dashboards, and provide data-driven insights that drive decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of data modelling, Data visualization, and the ability to transform complex data sets into actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create data models to support reporting requirements.
- Implement best practices in data visualization to deliver clear and actionable insights.

Data Integration:
- Connect to various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based data sources.
- Develop and optimize DAX calculations and queries.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through ETL processes.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other team members to ensure seamless data integration.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities.

Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality and performance.

Education:

- Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. A master‘s degree is a plus.

Experience:

- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Proven experience in developing Power BI solutions.
- Strong experience with SQL, data modelling, and ETL processes.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Proficient in SQL and data modelling.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
- Knowledge of other BI tools is an advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
