Enterprise Snowflake AdministratorSnowflake Administrators manage the entire platform of an organization, overseeing performance optimization, data security, user management and resource allocation. In this role you will be responsible for managing our Snowflake environment, ensuring seamless operation, scalability and reliability.Manage and configure all aspects of the Snowflake environment including Warehouses, Databases, Schemas, Stages, File Formats, and Pipes to ensure optimal performance.Implement and maintain robust security policies and protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.Oversee account-level settings, parameter configurations, and global policies to ensure consistency across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Configure and manage virtual warehouses, and monitor query performance to optimize system efficiency.Develop and implement scalable solutions using Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, and Stages to streamline data processing.Work closely with Data Engineers to develop ETL/ELT pipelines and integrate internal and external data sources.Develop and enforce a secure access control strategy aligned with company policies and industry standards.Requirements:5+ years experience in IT, preferably as a Snowflake administrator or engineer.Proven expertise in configuring and optimizing Snowflake environments for high-performance applications.Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database architecture.Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services and their integrations (S3, Blob, GCS).Desirable Qualifications:Proficiency in Python or SQL scripting for automation and process optimization.Understanding of DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.).SnowPro certification is a plus.If You Are Interested:Apply today to discuss your qualifications and career aspirations.
