Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to drive software testing and quality assurance across our product development lifecycle.This key role involves owning the development of test scripts from use cases, user stories, and other sources. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams to set up and run automated tests, write and maintain automated test scripts in specified tools.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products within regulated environments. They will possess excellent leadership skills and be able to drive test strategy and implement process improvements.Main ResponsibilitiesDrive software testing against requirement specifications, use cases, and user stories.Owning the development of test scripts from use cases, user stories, and other sources.Work alongside other team members in undertaking testing both during development sprints and in the lead up to product releases.Interacting with business analysts/product owners and other customer representatives, to assess if acceptance criteria have been met.Collaborate with development team members to set up and run automated tests, write, and maintain automated test scripts in specified tools.Support external test partners in carrying out specialist testing activities, such as load/performance testing.Ensure that testing is conducted on multiple supported browsers and devices.Required Skills and QualificationsIdeal candidate has a Computer Science or Engineering degree with substantial software development content.Experience writing code with Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, or C#.3+ Years of Automation Test/SDET experience.Over 10 years of proven Automation Test/SDET experience with leadership abilities and test strategy experience.Proven experience in GxP-regulated environments, Computer System Validation (CSV), and ETL data integration processes.Able to work closely with Developers and Product Owners to ensure features/bug fixes are 'shippable' by sprint end.International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Test Manager Advanced Level Certification.Team Leadership experience within a testing team.Understanding of web technologies (such as .NET, HTML etc.).Experience of manually testing and snagging websites/web-software.
