The ideal candidate will architect and implement backend solutions that ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.Main Responsibilities:Lead the development and scaling of high-volume, low-latency backend services to support our growing user base and data throughput.Owning end-to-end delivery of critical backend initiatives - from design and implementation to production rollout and monitoring.Architecting robust, scalable systems and improving our microservices framework to enhance performance and facilitate international expansion plans.Ensuring system reliability, efficiency, and redundancy, including disaster recovery strategies and data integrity.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align backend features with user demands and overall business goals.Mentoring junior developers and leading by example in coding, process refinement, and architectural decisions.Optimizing existing systems for maximum speed and scalability through rigorous testing and profiling.Spearheading innovations in data security, including enhanced protocols for user data protection and compliance with global standards.Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record in scalable systems.Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.Extensive experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, and serverless architectures.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Strong database management skills with both SQL and NoSQL databases.Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience with financial services applications or social networking platforms will be a significant plus.We value ownership, curiosity, and collaboration.
