Senior Financial ExecutiveJob Description:The Senior Financial Executive will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's financial well-being and laying a solid foundation for future growth. This executive will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial activities.Be responsible for managing payroll processing, vendor payouts, and collections (accounts receivables).Ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements, including Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and Goods and Services Tax (GST).Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.Negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.Support fundraising efforts by developing investor presentations and financial projections.Establish and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Maintain operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying saving initiatives.Collaborate with a big 4 audit firm for the completion of the statutory audit.Requirements:A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.Prior experience in building a finance function from scratch for a scaling SaaS company is an asset.The ability to adapt to the uncertainty of early-stage companies.Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting skills.Prior experience in SaaS accounting is beneficial.
