Successful organizations rely on strategic planning and execution to drive growth and innovation.Job Description:A key member of our team will assume the role of Application Portfolio Management (APM) Specialist. This individual will play a pivotal part in supporting enterprise architecture and application rationalization efforts using LeanIX, an advanced diagnostic solution.This critical position requires a deep understanding of application metadata, business capabilities, and technical attributes. The APM Specialist will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate data to inform decisions on modernization, consolidation, or new application development.Key Responsibilities:Data Stewardship:Populate and maintain up-to-date application data within LeanIX, ensuring ownership, lifecycle, business capabilities, and technical attributes are accurately recorded.Guarantee consistency and completeness of metadata across the entire application portfolio.Application Rationalization:Evaluate applications based on business value, including alignment with organizational goals, user impact, and cost efficiency.Assess technical value, focusing on scalability, integration readiness, security posture, and supportability.Identify candidates for retirement, consolidation, or modernization, aligning with business objectives.Technology Mapping & Future Planning:Collaborate with stakeholders to map future business requirements to existing technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.Support decision-making regarding enhancements to current platforms or the development of new applications.Stakeholder Engagement:Develop strong relationships with application owners, enterprise architects, and business analysts to gather insights and validate data.Facilitate workshops and reviews to ensure alignment on application strategy and lifecycle decisions.Reporting & Insights:Generate dashboards and reports from LeanIX to inform executive decision-making, highlighting portfolio health, redundancy, risk, and optimization opportunities.Provide actionable insights into the application portfolio, enabling data-driven decisions.Requirements:A minimum of 4 years of experience in application portfolio management, enterprise architecture, or IT asset management.Strong understanding of application lifecycle, business capability modeling, and technology stack analysis is essential.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required.Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or BIZBOK is necessary.Up to 15% travel may be required for business purposes.
