For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Business Analyst. Candidates need to have at least 5 years of Business Analyst experience.We are looking for a motivated contractor. This position is long-term. Candidates need to be fluent in English.Tasks and responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Treasury initiatives;Support SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Review, Retrospective) by preparing and presenting business analysis artifacts;Develop and maintain process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements (NFRs);Ensure traceability from requirements to features, stories, tests, and releases;Assist the Product Owner in backlog prioritization, refinement, and readiness for upcoming iterations and PIs;Identify and document risks, dependencies, and impediments; support resolution and escalation as needed;Maintain tooling hygiene and reporting in Azure DevOps (or equivalent), including boards, queries, dashboards, and links to design, test, and release artifacts;Support compliance with security, audit, and ICFR/SDLC controls by ensuring documentation and approvals are captured;Facilitate stakeholder communications, including preparation of release notes, change records, and post-release verification;Promote a culture of transparency, psychological safety, and data-driven decisions;Profile:Bachelor or Master degree;+5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology initiatives, preferably in Treasury or financial domains;Demonstrated experience supporting Agile/Scrum/SAFe teams, including facilitation of requirements workshops and backlog refinement;Proficiency with Azure DevOps (or similar) for backlog management, reporting, and traceability;Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills;Understanding of Lean-Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and built-in quality concepts;Familiarity with enterprise controls and governance (security reviews, change management, approvals);Fluent in English;
