Procurement Contract Specialist Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Contract Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts with vendors and suppliers.Key Responsibilities:Drafting, Negotiating, and Executing Contracts:The Procurement Contract Specialist will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts with vendors and suppliers.Collaboration with Internal Departments:The Procurement Contract Specialist will collaborate with internal departments, including legal, finance, business development, engineering and operations, to develop procurement strategies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Conducting Market Research:The Procurement Contract Specialist will conduct thorough market research to identify potential contractors, EPC, vendors and suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.Contract Performance Monitoring:The Procurement Contract Specialist will monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring that all parties fulfill their obligations and contractual requirements.Maintaining Contract Records:The Procurement Contract Specialist will maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation, including contract changes, renewals, and amendments.Resolving Contractual Disputes:The Procurement Contract Specialist will resolve any contractual disputes or issues that may arise, working closely with stakeholders to find mutually beneficial solutions.Staying Up-to-Date:The Procurement Contract Specialist will stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and contracts management, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.Procurement Contract Specialist Required Skills:Strong Understanding of Procurement Principles:The Procurement Contract Specialist should have a strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and contract management.Excellent Negotiation and Communication Skills:The Procurement Contract Specialist should have excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:The Procurement Contract Specialist should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Proficient in Contract Drafting and Negotiation Techniques:The Procurement Contract Specialist should be proficient in contract drafting and negotiation techniques, ensuring that contracts are comprehensive, legally sound, and aligned with business objectives.Ability to Manage Multiple Projects:The Procurement Contract Specialist should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Procurement Tools and Contract Management Software:The Procurement Contract Specialist should be proficient in using procurement tools, contract management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
