As a key player in our infrastructure, the Senior Automation Engineer will ensure observability and performance across global systems. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and optimize SolarWinds platform functions.Manage the SolarWinds Orion platform, including NPM, NCM, SAM, VNQM, and other modules.Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating tasks such as node onboarding/offboarding, alert suppression or muting during maintenance windows, custom alert/report generation and integration enhancements.Implement custom monitoring logic, automated diagnostics, and integrations via Orion API, SWIS, and REST endpoints.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand automation needs and deliver solutions that support workflow efficiency.Design and optimize tools and utilities to support monitoring self-service, reporting automation, and configuration validation.Manage Pollers, SNMP configurations, and agentless/agent-based monitoring across multi-vendor environments.Configure and maintain alert logic, escalation policies, and notification integrations (e.g., with ServiceNow).Participate in incident triage and root cause analysis, leveraging SolarWinds logs and metrics.Maintain security posture of the application, including RBAC, SNMPv3, and audit logging.
