Job OverviewThis is a leadership role that will spearhead the creation and execution of cutting-edge security solutions using SIEM, SOAR, and machine learning technology to enhance threat detection and response capabilities across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage centralized log analysis and real-time event monitoring systems using Splunk.Develop and refine correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, and use cases to detect anomalous and malicious activity.Lead data ingestion and normalization from diverse enterprise systems, including cloud workloads, endpoints, and network devices.Develop and maintain playbooks to automate incident detection, triage, response, and recovery processes using SOAR.Optimize SOAR workflows and integrations with security infrastructure to minimize mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to respond (MTTR).Apply machine learning models to identify security anomalies, enrich event context, and predict potential threats.Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC), DevOps, IT, and business units to align security automation with organizational objectives.Analyze incident data to uncover trends and provide recommendations for improving controls and detection capabilities.Maintain detailed documentation for playbooks, integrations, automation processes, and incident response protocols.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging tools to continually advance threat detection and automation strategies.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and promote best practices for SOAR and SIEM within the team.Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of:SIEM and SOAR technologies and their applications in security operations.Machine learning concepts and techniques for threat detection and response.Programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.Data ingestion, normalization, and analytics.Playbook development and maintenance using SOAR.Incident response and management.Security infrastructure and architecture.BenefitsThis role offers a range of benefits, including:Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.A comprehensive compensation package.The chance to work on high-impact security projects.Additional InformationIf you are passionate about security and interested in joining a forward-thinking organization, please submit your application.
