Job OpportunityThe Senior Legal Director will serve as the lead for all legal and compliance matters, responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, providing strategic guidance to business functions, reviewing commercial documentation, and supporting a global legal framework.Act as the legal representative, ensuring alignment with global objectives.Support the Chief Legal Officer on regional initiatives, compliance rollouts, and corporate structuring activities.Provide risk-based legal guidance to leadership and operational teams.Advise HR and management on employee relations, contracts, policies, and disciplinary actions.Ensure employment documentation and practices are fully compliant with labor and employment laws.Partner with HR and regional legal to support workforce transitions, investigations, and terminations.Ensure compliance with Companies Act, labor and employment laws, SEZ/IT Park regulations, outsourcing-related rules and regulations.Oversee corporate secretarial compliance, legal filings, and board documentation.Monitor outsourcing and data transfer regulations, ensuring compliance with global client expectations.Oversee policy development, internal compliance programs, and local regulatory reporting.Partner with operations and compliance teams to implement risk mitigation measures.Ensure adherence to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and global privacy frameworks.Collaborate with Information Security and Privacy teams to ensure lawful cross-border data transfer practices.Review and revise client and vendor agreements to ensure compliance with legal standards.Identify key risk areas, propose mitigation strategies, and provide clear recommendations.Ensure global contract templates adhere to applicable guidelines and delegations of authority.
