Associate– Analytics

About the roleAt smallcase, we are looking for an Associate to strengthen our Analytics & AI/ML capabilities. In this role, you will partner with business and product teams to enable data-backed problem solving and drive the adoption of AI/ML across key use cases.You will play a key role in:Managing analytics projects that inform business and product decisionsIdentifying opportunities to apply AI/ML within workflows, decision systems, and customer experiencesBuilding scalable processes and insights to support data-driven decision-makingMentoring team members and ensuring smooth collaboration across stakeholdersWith strong expertise in analytics and a practical understanding of ML applications, you will help shape strategies, optimize processes, and improve product outcomes.What You'll Be DoingManage end-to-end analytics initiatives across multiple product linesConduct advanced data analysis and develop predictive models to test hypotheses and solve business challengesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML into business and product workflows (e.g., personalization, forecasting, automation)Ensure data accuracy and reliability in partnership with product and engineering teamsApply advanced analytics and experimental methodologies (A/B testing, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, etc.) to generate insights and measure impactTranslate data and ML outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholdersEncourage adoption of data-driven and AI-assisted decision-making within teamsWhat We Look for in You1-3 years of experience in analytics and/or AI/ML domainsDemonstrated ability to take initiatives from idea to execution (analytics projects, ML model deployments, or both)Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsHands-on experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and MS Excel (exposure to ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is a plus; Mixpanel experience is also a plus)Solid understanding of product analytics and ML techniques (classification, regression, clustering, recommendations, NLP, etc.)A proactive mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities where data and AI can create impactScope of growth in this role:Opportunity to manage analytics & AI/ML initiatives across business and product verticalsGain exposure to defining practical applications of AI/ML while strengthening analytics foundationsDrive innovation at the intersection of data, technology, and investingBe part of a fast-growing product with the chance to scale your impact across millions of usersAbout smallcaseAt smallcase, we are changing how India invests. smallcase is a leading provider of investment products & platforms to over 10 million Indians.
