Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electricalsystem design and implementation for diverse building projects. The role demandsexpertise in power distribution, lighting design, and building services coordination whileensuring regulatory compliance and design excellence.Key Responsibilities● Design comprehensive electrical systems including power distribution, lighting,and control systems● Prepare electrical single line diagrams, panel schedules, and detailed workingdrawings● Conduct electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordinationstudies● Lead and mentor a team of junior electrical engineers and CAD technicians● Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, fire safety teams, and external consultants● Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, NBC, and local electrical codes and standards● Review electrical designs for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness● Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and client meetings● Oversee electrical system commissioning and testing procedures● Stay updated with latest electrical technologies and sustainable designpracticesTechnical Requirements● B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering● 4–6 years of hands-on electrical design experience in building services● Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Revit MEP for electrical modeling● Experience with electrical analysis software (ETAP, SKM, or similar)● Strong knowledge of electrical codes: IEC, IS 732, IS 1255, NBC Part 8, etc.● Experience in LT/HT power systems, UPS, DG sets, and emergency power systems● Knowledge of lighting design software (DIALux or Relux) and energy-efficientsolutions● Understanding of building automation, fire alarm, and security systemsintegrationLeadership & Communication● Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams● Strong technical writing and documentation skills● Excellent interpersonal and client management capabilities● Proactive approach to problem-solving and design optimization● Experience in project coordination and timeline managementCareer Benefits● Attractive compensation package with annual performance reviews● Exposure to cutting-edge electrical design technologies and methodologies● Leadership development opportunities and clear career progression path● Work on prestigious commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects● Professional development support including training and certifications
