Job Title: Radiation Safety ExecutiveTo ensure a safe working environment, we need an individual who can implement and monitor radiation safety protocols across all radiology equipment manufacturing, testing, and validation areas.Key Responsibilities:Radiation Safety Protocols: Implement and monitor radiation safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.Conduct Radiation Surveys: Conduct regular radiation surveys to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate them.Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of radiation exposure and ensure that all activities are performed within prescribed limits.Equipment Calibration: Ensure that all radiation monitoring devices and personal dosimeters are properly calibrated and functioning correctly.Regulatory Compliance: Handle and coordinate licensing for the installation, servicing, and testing of X-Ray, C-Arm, DR, and CT systems with regulatory bodies such as AERB and NABL.Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and submit documentation required for regulatory compliance, including quality management system certifications like ISO 13485.Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with regulatory authorities for approvals, renewals, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Facility Maintenance: Ensure that all facilities and radiation-emitting devices are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to quality management and environmental protection.Leadership Role: Act as the designated Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the organization, providing leadership and guidance on radiation safety practices and emergency preparedness.Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to employees on radiation safety practices, emergency preparedness, and protocols to follow in case of an incident.Incident Reporting: Investigate and report any incidents involving radiation exposure or non-compliance, taking corrective action to prevent recurrence.Continuous Improvement: Review safety measures periodically and recommend improvements to enhance radiation protection and workplace safety.
