Structural Steel Detailer JobAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Detailer to support our design, detailing, and documentation of steel structures. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills, precision, and excellent collaboration abilities with engineers and project managers.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage 3D models in Autodesk Advance Steel for structural steel projects.Produce fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and workshop documentation.Ensure models and drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.Coordinate with structural engineers, and workshops to resolve design issues.Review and update drawings based on redlines, design revisions, and client feedback.Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent naming conventions and workflows.Support the optimization of internal CAD standards and modeling procedures.RequirementsProven experience as a CAD Operator or Steel Detailer working with Autodesk Advance Steel is mandatory.Strong understanding of structural steel components, connections, and fabrication processes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Familiarity with industry standards related to steel structures (EN is used).Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Excellent English communication skills for technical documentation and coordination are required.BenefitsA role where your output directly shapes real projects.Modern tools, fast decision-making, and a team that appreciates competence.Growth opportunities in advanced modeling, automation, and digital fabrication.Nice to HaveKnowledge of CNC data export, CAM integration, or workshop processes is beneficial.Experience with parametric modeling or customization in Advance Steel is desirable.Background in civil, mechanical, or structural engineering is advantageous.
