Job Title: Business System Analyst Advanced SQL & InformaticaSummary:We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in Advanced SQL and ETL tools (preferably Informatica). The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and manage both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and frameworks.Experience & Education Requirements:Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in system/business analysisAdvanced SQL expertise – hands-on and in-depth (Mandatory)Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter) – ability to navigate and interpret mappings (Mandatory)Strong experience in:Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Impact AnalysisCreating BSA artifacts: BRD, FRD, SRS, and STTMData mapping, lineage, and validationReverse engineering and documentation of existing logic (Mandatory)Experience working in Agile environments (Preferred)Knowledge of Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (Good to have)Azure certification/experience (Preferred but not mandatory)Familiarity with ETL concepts and cloud technologies (Good to have)Key Responsibilities:Customer-Facing Activities:Analyze current system processes and recommend technology solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to assess impact and manage integrationTranslate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specificationsEnsure traceability of requirements through design, development, testing, and deploymentSupport testing teams with requirement-based test conditions and expected resultsProvide oversight and guidance to ensure quality, scalability, and innovationIdentify opportunities for process improvement and innovationTeam Collaboration:Foster a positive and collaborative team environmentShare knowledge and participate in cross-training and development activitiesStay updated on emerging trends and toolsCommunicate project status and updates effectivelyMentor and support team members as neededPromote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the teamRepresent the business function professionally both internally and externallyBreadth & Depth of Knowledge:Advanced understanding of system analysis techniques and processesStrong knowledge of supported systems, components, interfaces, and data flowsExpertise in enterprise technology delivery practices including design, development, testing, and deploymentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionReports to a Manager or Practice Lead
