About the Business

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Preparation of project construction plan
  • Plan resources, arrangement & allocation of resources as per the project plan
  • Implementation of project plan & ensures logical sequencing of plan based on resources
  • Monitors construction schedule & highlights anticipated delays/deviancies in advance & mitigation plan
  • To analyse the gaps between the planned vs actual and highlight the areas needing attention for the action of the project team.
  • Hands on experience of ETC, 33kV,11kV /6.6 kV Switchgear Panel, Fast Bus Transfer system,11/6.6kV Motor, NGR, Distribution transformer 11/0.415KV, HT & LT PCC, MCC Panel, APFC Panel, DG AMF Panel & Synchronisation system/Rotary UPS, Lighting, Earthing, Cable tray and cabling etc.
  • Execution exposure in large industrial utility system i.e. Air Compressor, AHU, VFD, LT –HT Motors/UPW/PEN /PEX/HVAC/GAS/Chiller/PCW/Gas & chemical and its associated electrical system
  • Hands on experience on Erection, testing & Commissioning of 220kV, 66kV, 33KV GIS and switchyard with all associated equipment’s CB, CT, PT, CVT, Isolator, LA, Protection Relay, CRP Panel, RTCC, Power Transformer 100/120 MVA, SCADA, SAS, Battery Charger etc.

Essential areas/ factors/ conditions in which incumbent should have experience

Hands on experience of project execution, ETC of various equipment’s associated with electrical system, Exposure in semiconductor fab unit, solar cell manufacturing unit & Large industrial utilities, monitoring & follow up, identifying critical issues, developing & implementing action plan for resolution & Generating MIS.
