Leadership Role for Quality AssuranceThe company is seeking an experienced leader to strengthen its testing processes and oversee a distributed QA team. This role will focus on defining quality assurance strategies, creating test plans, and ensuring seamless delivery of web and mobile applications.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, create test plans, and lead the execution for web and mobile applications.Collaborate with product managers, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure effective communication and results-driven collaboration.Track and report quality metrics, analyze trends, and identify root causes of issues.Manage offshore QA members (approx. 5–7), including test case design, progress tracking, and review of deliverables.Perform hands-on testing when required and maintain high standards for test coverage.Lead a small onsite QA team and drive continuous improvement through standardized QA processes and best practices.Prepare regular reports and communicate results to stakeholders.Scope of Testing:Web applications for desktop and mobile browsers.Native Android and iOS applications.Browser extensions.Backend APIs and batch processing systems.Requirements:3+ years of experience in test design and execution for web or mobile applications.Knowledge equivalent to ISTQB Foundation Level.Previous experience as a team leader or similar role.Experience working with offshore teams or external vendors.Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with e-commerce platforms.Experience in API testing.Knowledge of test automation tools and CI/CD environments.Exposure to performance and security testing.Proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence.Personal Attributes:Proactive problem solver who drives improvements and engages stakeholders.Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-changing environment.Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.Comfortable taking on new challenges and improving processes.Team-oriented and results-driven.Language Requirements:English: Business level.
