As a key member of our data engine, you will design and implement search solutions using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.Key Responsibilities:Develop custom query builders and search pipelines tailored to business requirements.Leverage LLMs and AI for data enrichment and improved search relevance.Design and implement index templates, mappings, and lifecycle policies.Create robust APIs for search using Python (FastAPI).Requirements:5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production environments.Expert level expertise in Python with experience building APIs (preferably FastAPI).Deep understanding of search concepts: analysers, tokenisers, relevance tuning, custom scoring, and query DSL.Experience with large-scale data modelling.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a green-field project, architecting the backbone of our data engine from the ground up.
