Job DescriptionAs a senior data architect, you will lead the design and delivery of advanced data platforms for our clients in the life sciences industry. Your expertise in cloud-based data engineering and architecture will be instrumental in driving innovation and growth.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic solutions that meet the complex data needs of our clients. Your leadership skills and ability to guide technical teams will be essential in ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, architecture, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or delivery leadership roles.At least 5 years of experience working in the biotech/pharma industry supporting clinical/commercial business units to meet their data and reporting needs.Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms & services including AWS and Azure.Expertise in data lake/Lakehouse architectures and modern ELT patterns.Strong SQL, Python, Spark, and data modeling skills.Experience integrating pharma datasets & systems.Experience/good understanding of BI & reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end data platform architectures.Build scalable solutions on leading cloud platforms using best-practice patterns.Lead technical delivery across multiple engagements.Conduct design reviews, guide development teams, and ensure solution quality.Ensure adherence to Data governance, Security & Compliance.Oversee operational support activities, driving automation where possible and resolving data management and analytics-related issues.BenefitsAs a member of our team, you will enjoy a dynamic and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
